The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 today on 20th July 2024. Now students can check city and centre-wise results on the official website of NTA at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/ and neet.ntaonline.in. The NTA published the results after the Supreme Court gave the directions.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 on July 20. Following the Supreme Court’s directive, the results are now available in a city-wise and centre-wise format. The court had mandated that the NTA release the NEET UG 2024 results by 12 noon today, and they have been uploaded on the official NEET UG website at exams.nta.ac.in.

However, there is still some uncertainty about how to access the centre-wise and city-wise results. It appears that the exam centre code might be needed to view these results. This requirement has led to some confusion, as the process to retrieve these details is not yet clear.

The Supreme Court had instructed the NTA to publish these results to help assess whether candidates from allegedly compromised exam centres performed differently compared to those from other locations. This decision came in response to concerns raised about the integrity of the exam. The court’s objective is to determine if there was any unfair advantage gained at certain centres.

As for the ongoing situation, the apex court is set to deliver its final decision on July 22. This will follow the review of various petitions that have been filed, which include requests for the exam’s cancellation, a re-test, and a court-monitored probe into allegations of malpractice.

The Supreme Court’s order was clear: the results should be published without revealing individual identities to protect privacy. The bench, including Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra, emphasized that results should be city-wise and centre-wise as per their directive. Thus, students and stakeholders should check the official NTA website for the latest updates and further instructions.
