- Associate professor: Candidate must possess Medical Qualification included in the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, and must have a postgraduate qualification in the respective discipline or equivalent thereto from MCI. In the case of Hospital Administration, it shall be MD or Master’s degree in Hospital Administration. The candidate must have 6 years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the concerned specialty. This course of experience shall be obtained after the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or any other equivalent recognized qualification.
- Assistant professor: Candidates must possess a medical qualification which is included in the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, and a postgraduate qualification in the respective discipline or any other equivalent recognized qualification. In the case of Hospital Administration special M.D. or Master’s degree in Hospital Administration.
