Who can partake in the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test Phase 1 Counselling, 2024
Not everyone can participate in the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test, Phase 1 Counselling. To be eligible candidates, they must clear the first written/main entrance test and only those who have cleared the first round can enter the following rounds by registering online for the counseling. The registration for the 2024 session has opened on 26th July and will go till 1st August 2024.

The Andhra Pradesh ICET Phase 1 Counselling 2024, eligibility criteria
This state-level common competitive exam is conducted to secure a place in the MBA (Master of Business Administration) or MCA (Master of Computer Appliance) program in a state government-run institution based on merit and performance. What are the eligibility criteria to take part in this selection process?
Candidates are required to possess any three-year course degree that has mathematics as one of the papers with a minimum overall score of 50% for the general category and 45% for other reserved categories to be eligible to take part in this competition to secure a place in the MBA program.
In the case of the MCA Program, candidates are required to possess a graduate qualification in Computer Appliance, computer science engineering, equivalent diploma degree.
The overall score they must have from graduation is 50% for the general category and 45% for the remaining reserved categories.
If the candidate is from a bachelor program which is none of the above (B.COM, BA, B.sc) they must at least have maths in their senior school mark sheets with a minimum score of 45% to 50%.
Anyone who meets the criteria demanded for various aspects is eligible to take part in the selection process.
Age limit-
The minimum age limit is 21 years however there is no specific upper age limit provided to be an eligible candidate. If there is any age gap (break taken from school) a solid explanation will be asked from the candidates by the board member sitting in the counseling session.

The registration varies from candidate to candidate based on their reservation categories but two rules remain constant and unchanged for all the categories, the fee is non-negotiable and it is irreversible once the payment is done successfully even if the candidate desires to withdraw voluntarily from taking part in the process of selection to secure their admission in any respective courses. The fee charged only reverts back if the payment attempt is unsuccessful and in a case like this, the candidate will get the money within 2 to 3 working days in their account from where the money is originally deducted.
