Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification
Candidates should have a graduation degree in Computer from a recognized University/Institution.
A diploma in Computer is also acceptable.
Preference is given to candidates who have served in the Territorial Army for at least 2 years or have obtained “B” or “C” certificates from the National Cadet Corps.

Selection Process
The selection process for UKPSC APS Recruitment 2024 involves only the main examination. No preliminary exam will be conducted this year. The selection process is divided into two stages:
First Stage
Hindi Typing Test: 15 marks, 10 minutes
English Typing Test: 15 marks, 10 minutes
Computer Exam: 100 marks, 90 minutes
Hindi Stenography: 135 marks, 40 minutes
English Shorthand: 135 marks, 40 minutes
Candidates who qualify in the typing tests will appear for the computer test, followed by stenography tests.
Note: The General Studies section includes objective-type questions. The essay questions are descriptive. There is a negative marking of 1/4 marks in the General Studies section. The minimum qualifying mark for the Essay and Drafting Test is 35%.
Candidates selected for the Additional Private Secretary posts will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 47,600/- to Rs. 1,51,100/-. This salary is paid as per Level 8 of the Pay Matrix.
