The date of exam is also mentioned in the notification the exam will be conducted on 6 October, 2024 and the date for PET/PST  is 16 October, 2024 and the skill test will be conducted from 19 October,2024 onwards.

Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit

To be eligible for APSSB CHSL the minimum educational qualification a candidate needs to have is that they should have passed 12th from a recognized board.

If we take the age limit the maximum limit is 35 years old and the minimum is 18 years old.

APSSB CHSL Educational Qualification 

The following educational qualifications should be met by the interested candidates to be eligible to apply for the post.

Post Educational Qualification
Compositor  A candidate should be Class 12 pass and also needs to have 5 years of experience and fair knowledge about printing type and hand composing method.
Copy Holder Needs to be a (Class 12) pass and should be good in English
Dissection Hall Attendant 10+2 with science from a recognised board
Proofreader Should have passed class 12th and has 2 years of proofreading experience.
Record Keeper/ Clerk/ Computer Operator
  • One-year Diploma course in computer application
Forester Needs to be 12th pass with science steam from a recognised board.
Lower Divisional Clerk
  • 12th class pass or equivalent from recognised board
  • Typing speed test of 35 words per minute on computer (35 words per minute corresponds to 10500 key depression per hour) on an average of 5 key depression for each word. 
  • Should have a 6 months diploma in computer application from a recognised board/ institution recognised by the Arunachal Pradesh Council for technical education/ AICTE.

Documents Required

Selected candidates will have to submit the following documents for verification. 

  • Recent passport-size Photograph (2 copies).
  • For proof of date of birth Matriculation certificates issued by a recognized  Board/University
  • Class XII pass certificate issued by the Board/University.
  • Class XII marksheet issued by a recognized Board/University.
  • APST Certificate (if applicable).
  • Permanent Resident Certificate (if applicable).
  • Certificate of 6 (six) months Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized Board/Institution duly recognized by the Arunachal Pradesh Council for Technical Education/AICTE (if applicable).
  • Certificate of 1 (one) year Diploma in Computer Application (if applicable).
  • Experience Certificate as per requirement indicated against respective Post Codes.
  • Those who are in regular Govt. Service Intimation letter to HoD.
  • PwBD certificate in case of vacancy under PwBD quota.
  • Admit Card and application form.
  • Any other required documents

APSSB CHSL 2024 Application Process

Steps to apply for the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board CHSL recruitment exam 2024 are mentioned below.

  • Go to the official Website of the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board at www.apssb.nic.in.
  • Find the link for the application, recruitment, or apply online button it can be either of these 3 select it. Then register for the application process with your details.
  • Fill in the details required for the registration once you are done with registration log in with the credentials the application will open.
  • Enter your details like address phone number and email it will also name of your parents fill that too then upload the required documents including the educational qualification certificate.
  • Make sure the documents are in the given size and format or else it might become a problem once you have uploaded and filled everything.
  • Click on submit and as always pay the required application fees. Through UPI, debit card, or credit card.
  • The application fee for the APST candidates is 150 rupees and for the general candidates, it’s around 200 rupees.  It’s a non-refundable fee and it can only be paid online.  Persons with disabilities (PwD) don’t have to pay any fees for the application.
  • Once you have paid the fees download and print the application form and fee receipt for future use. Your application is complete and you can focus on the examination.
