The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) 2024 for the June session. Students can now download their admit cards from the official website, which is csirnet.nta.ac.in. This is important for all the candidates as the admit card is mandatory to bring along with the Identity Proof on the exam day to the exam centre. Initially, the CSIR UGC NET exam was scheduled to be held from June 25 to June 27, 2024. However, due to unavoidable circumstances and logistic issues, the NTA postponed the exam on June 21, 2024. This change affected the schedule for about 2 lakh candidates who were expected to take the exam. Despite the delay, the students eagerly awaited the exam who are aiming for positions such as Junior Research Fellowship, lectureship, assistant professor, and PhD opportunities.
The CSIR NET exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode. This format is designed to smooth the examination process and ensure a fair and efficient assessment of candidates’ knowledge and skills. The exam is a significant competition test for students pursuing careers in research and academia.
CSIR NET 2024: How to download admit card
To download the admit card, candidates need to visit the official website and follow the instructions provided. They must enter their application number and password to access and download their admit card. It is important for candidates to check all the details on their admit card carefully, including their name, exam date, and exam centre.
