HPSC has shown in its released recruitment advertisement that a space of 805 is available for an Ayurvedic Medical Officer(Group B) in the Department of Health and Ayush. The distributions of these vacancies are as follows; 427 general category, 161 schedule cast, 88 backward class A, and 48 backward class B respectively while 81 seats are meant for candidates from economically weaker sections as well.
HPSC AMO Recruitment 2024 eligibility criteria

It has been clarified that for the post of Ayurvedic Medical Officer, Group-B, Health & Ayush Department, Haryana, the application fee shall be 1,000 rupees for General and candidates belonging to the Backward Class (Creamy Layer). The application fees for SC, BC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, Ex-Servicemen, and all female candidates shall be 250 rupees.
Candidates may note that the Candidates who are not domiciled in Haryana have to pay an Application fee ₹ 1000/-, whether male or female, and of any category. However, PwBD candidates of Haryana are exempted from payment of any fee.
HPSC AMO Recruitment 2024 Selection process
The selection procedure for recruitment to the posts of Ayurvedic Medical Officers, Group-B, Health & Ayush Department, Haryana, shall include two steps: Written Examination and Interview.
Written Exam: Written Exam The Written Exam is probably going to be conducted by the Haryana Public Service Commission if it is felt necessary, tentatively in August/September 2024. Offline mode will be held to shortlist candidates for the Interview stage. The syllabus and examination pattern will be uploaded about four to six weeks before the exam date.
Interview: Candidates who qualify for the Written Exam shall be called for the Interview. Alternatively, if no written examination is conducted, then based on academic performance, candidates will be shortlisted for the Interview. The Interview will be in person and is expected to last between 20 to 30 minutes per candidate.
