Notification is out for CAT 2024 this year I am Calcutta is convening examination for which the notification has been released for CAT 2024 today.
Everyone can access the notification from their official website regarding the day pattern, eligibility criteria, courses, application process, and other details. The list of other colleges that are participating in this examination is also provided and their notification checks it out.
Students will have to create a login account, fill in the application form, then upload the required documents, and verify the free payment to complete their registration process. The examination fee for the examination is increased this year. So if you belong to the general category you will have to pay 2400 while the candidates of sc/st/pwd will have to pay only 1200 rupees.
Notification for the application and process of cat 2024 was released on 28 July 2024 and the exam is going to be conducted on 24 November 2024 that will be conducted by IIM Calcutta. The registration process will begin from 1st August and the last day to apply for CAT is 13 September 2024. Make sure you are applying for the last date. The eligibility criteria for the students are also mentioned in the notification. Regarding the educational qualification, a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in which he should have a minimum of 50% or equivalent CGPA so that they can cancel for CAT 2024
There will be three sections in this examination. The first section will be for quantitative ability, the second section will be for verbal ability, 3rd section for reading comprehension, fourth section will be for logical reasoning and data interpretation. There will be a total of 66 marks that students will have to complete in 120 minutes.

After filling out the required details like nationality date of birth name email ID and phone number you will have to complete the captcha verification.
Once you very fine you will get an OTP number send in the registration mobile number that you have entered before.

Now when she does the verification process you will have to log your c a t I d so that this sends you are email.
Now you will have to fill in your details including educational qualification and other details.
Once you have done that you will have to click on the next page from there you will have to enter your documents like recent passport-size photos in nature and other relevant documents.
Then you will have to select the courses for which you are going to set up the City from where you will take the examination and the preferred college.
Students will have to pay the registration fees for CAT 2024 by using a debit card, credit card, or net banking system. A candidate belonging to the general category will have to pay 2500 INR on the other hand if the candidate belongs to access statistics class PW they will have to pay 1rupeesupee only.

Once you have an application you can recorrect your application by logging in to your application form.
