These positions are offered with a monthly salary of Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 6,600. The recruitment system for MDL had the following age requirements by 1st October 2024:
Group A applicants should be between the ages of 15 and 19
Group B should range from 16 to 21 years
Group C should target applicants aged between 14 and 18 as per this date
As for now, these limits remain static up until 1st October 2024 and someone aspiring to join any particular group has no option but to adhere strictly to such constraints.
The age of a candidate from the scheduled tribe or caste shall be eligible for a 5-year relaxation; in the case of other backward classes it should be 3 years and in the case of CID (PWD) cases it should be 10 years relaxation. These relaxations apply to candidates who are eligible for the recruitment of Mazagon Dock Limited as per government rules.
Educational Qualification:
Draftsman (Mechanical), Electrician: Passed 10th class with General Science & Mathematics Fitter, Pipe Fitter, and Structural Fitter.
Structural Fitter (Ex. ITI Fitter), Draftsman (Mechanical), Electrician, ICTSM, Electronic Mechanic, Pipe Fitter, Welder, COPA, Carpenter, and RAC: Passed relevant ITI trades from a Govt./Govt.-recognized institute
Welder (Gas & Electric) and Rigger: Passed 8th Std. with Science & Mathematics
General/OBC/EWS/DIVYANG/AFC categories require a minimum of 50% score in the aggregate. On the contrary, individuals falling under the SC/ST classification are only expected to attain a passing grade at this level.
