Following is the RRB JE selection process for 2024-
First Stage of CBT: The first part of CBT includes questions which were oriented to check basic knowledge and logical thinking. There shall be negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer in CBT.

RRB JE 2024 exam pattern for CBT 1 and CBT 2
The RRB JE 2024 exam pattern for CBT 1 and CBT 2 as announced by the Railway Recruitment Board is detailed as follows:
In both of the CBTs, for each incorrect answer, ½ marks of the number of marks allotted to a particular question, will be deducted.
CBT 1 is normally for a period of 90 minutes, while CBT 2 takes 120 minutes.
CBT 1 will consist of one hundred questions and CBT 2 will have one hundred and fifty questions.
The format of both the CBTs will be Objective type questions which are also known as Multiple Choice Questions.
Document Verification: Documentation to ensure that the admission qualifications meet the remained criteria and that they are real. For SC/ST/OBC/EWS category candidates, it is advised to have updated caste/community certificates till the fixed date for the application submission. As if the casual approach to states announcing communities for certificate issuance were not bad enough, the Central Government’s list of recognized communities must match the state governments’ list as of the closing date of the application (14-05-2024). The candidates who are already worked in the Central/State Government departments such as Railways or Public Sector Undertaking, should produce the NOC of their employer at the time of document verification, otherwise, their candidature will be cancelled.

Medical Examination
