RRC ER Group C 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: The applicants should have passed the 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent examination with an aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized Education Board/Council/Institution. However, this 50% aggregate marks criterion does not apply to SC, ST, ESM, and PWD applicants and those who are above the higher qualification as per this instruction from a UGC-recognized University. Or, alternatively, the candidates who passed the 10th class examination with a Government-recognized Board and also have a National Apprenticeship Certificate, NAC, or ITI approved by NCVT.
Note: A diploma in Engineering is not accepted as a qualification for higher qualification. In addition, candidates shall also possess Scouting/Guiding qualifications as given in the notification guidelines. Age Limit: For the RRC ER Group C recruitment in 2024, age criteria are as follows: Level-2 (Group ‘C’): The age limit for candidates in this category is 18-30 years. Level-1 (Erstwhile Group ‘D’): The age gap for applicants who fall under this category shall range from 18 up to 33 years.

RRC ER Group C 2024 Application fee
The application fee of RRC ER Group C recruitment fee arrangement reads as follows:
General and OBC candidates: ₹500 is the amount paid for the application. After one appears in the exam, ₹400 will be refunded back.
SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/PWD/Women/Minorities/Economically Backward Classes: ₹250 is the application fee. If one sits for the exam, he or she can get a refund of everything that was paid.
RRC ER Group C 2024 selection process
In the RRC ER recruitment, the selection for Group C will be based on the following process, which involves various steps to select the most eligible candidate.
Written Test: The written test shall consist of 60-mark objective questions with multiple choices and essay-type questions. Questions would be on the topic of Scouts & Guides and general knowledge. The candidate shall be assessed for his or her knowledge of principles of scouting and general awareness or knowledge.
Document Verification: Candidates who qualify for the written test will be summoned for document verification. At this stage, the candidate’s educational qualifications and claimed scouting qualifications in the application are verified.
