Applicants must satisfy eligibility criteria to be considered. The general scope involves age limits along with academic qualifications just to mention but a few. Its importance cannot be overemphasized because it enables one to fulfill the minimal qualifications set for scholarship by the organization in question hence a higher probability of being offered such a chance.
Citizenship: The qualification needed is for the applicants to be currently living in Uttar Pradesh and they must be citizens of India.
Academic Criteria: Students in Class 9 or Class 10 are eligible for the Pre-Matric scholarship. For a Post-Learnership scholarship, students in Class 11 and above will have this as a criterion.
Income Criteria: The student’s family is not supposed to earn more than 2.5 lakh rupees annually.
Categories eligible: SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), Minorities such as Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and Zoroastrians/Parsis), PWD (People With Disabilities), and General Candidates fall under these categories.
Exclusivity clause: Students are ineligible to apply for other scholarships provided by the Central or State Governments or any other institutions at the same time.
Academic performance requirement: To be eligible for the scholarship program at UP, prospective students must have attained excellent academic grades in their previous exams.

Aadhaar Card: An Aadhaar card is a government-issued card which used to identify oneself to the government.Â
Mark Sheet: It is used in previous academic grades’ cards so as to confirm if what was said is true about those grades or if it was simply a mere bluff.Â
