The allowances for various GDS positions are elaborated in the following way:
Office Maintenance Allowance (OMA): ₹100 per month for GDS Sub Postmasters and Branch Postmasters.
Fixed Stationery Charge: ₹25 per month for GDS Sub Postmasters and Branch Postmasters; ₹10 per month for other GDS categories such as Mail Deliverers, Stamp Vendors, and Mail Carriers involved in delivery work.
Boat Allowance: Reimbursement of actual charges paid to the boatman which may be up to ₹50 per month for mail conveyance.
