SSC GD 2025 Last Date to Apply Online Today for 39,481 Vacancies: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has finalized the last date for eligible candidates to apply for SSC GD Constable 2025 recruitment. 14th October will be the last enrollment date. 39,481 dreams will be completed with the help of this newly announced recruitment by the SSC. The recruitment examination shall provide jobs for posts in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Special Security Forces (SSF), Rifleman (GD) Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The recruitment process is open for male and female candidates based on the eligibility criteria. Application fee for SSC GD exam – ₹100 whereas relaxation in application fee is applicable under the Rules.
The SSC GD selection process is divided into some stages. A candidate should pass through all of them to get selected:
Computer-Based Examination: There would be a computer-based examination comprising 80 questions, which would amount to 160 marks. The right answer will carry 2 marks. So, it can be attempted within 60 minutes. The examination would be conducted in all the regional languages, viz., English, Hindi, and 13 local languages like Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): After clearing the CBE, one gets into the PET, wherein physical fitness would be tested.
Physical Standard Test (PST): This test will check whether the candidates can reach the required height, chest, and weight standards.
Medical Examination and Document Verification: The final stage includes strict medical examination along with verification of documents.
